The calm atmosphere and academic quality make it a good choice for science students.
Placements: Placement cell is active and brings companies like TCS, Wipro, and Sutherland. Some students also get internship opportunities during their final semester. For biochemistry on campus placement opportunities are usually limited. Most of them are prepared for higher studies.
Infrastructure: I have good experience at TKM. The campus is clean and good with a modern library and labs. The classrooms are well-maintained and have TVs. The biochemistry labs are well-equipped for practical and research work. The canteen provides good quality food.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts clearly and are always ready to guide students, especially during practical work. They support students with extra sessions during exams. In some semesters, the exams are tough.
Other: There are good opportunities for extracurricular activities like cultural events, science exhibitions, and fests.

I am absolutely satisfied because of better infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The actual number of students placed last year is unknown. But in my department, 4 students got placed in IT companies with very low salary packages. Companies offer 15,000-20,000 per month. The placements are for degree-based positions, and there are no placements particularly for Biochemistry students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is too good compared to other non-professional aided colleges in Kerala. We have completely smart classes with high-definition projectors and so on. The library is also well-maintained with almost all types of books. It is one of the biggest libraries in Kollam district. Most non-professional aided colleges in Kerala do not provide hostel facilities, but our college has excellent hostel facilities, though the food is not always good. The canteen is small, mostly offering snacks and ice cream. Complete meals are not always available, but they will provide them if we order beforehand. There are sports teams and clubs, but they are not too active.
Faculty: Teachers are absolutely helpful and, of course, highly qualified. All teachers are doctorate holders and have proper knowledge about their subjects. They are helpful and work together for the betterment of students' studies. Biochemistry is comparatively hard to study, and the exams are totally unpredictable as my college is under Kerala University.
Other: I chose this course only because I heard it had many job opportunities, but it is completely a myth. Opportunities will be available only if we have post-graduation. My course does not have textbooks for core courses, so textbooks can make my course better. My college barely conducts two events a year. Overall campus vibe is good but very small in area.

Sincere Opinion about TKM College of Arts and Science .
Placements: More than 70% of the students got placed in my college. They provide jobs in the well-known companies such as Amazon and Wipro. They accompany us with every thing and, the placement cell is very well-qualified, they train students for jobs also.
Infrastructure: Very well-cleaned hostel rooms, mess and everything. They provide good quality food with hygiene and also there are many workers in the hostel section. They clean each every place everyday, and maintain it very well. The waste management are very well organized.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. We can easily build a communication bond with them. They help us at every step and give us a correct guidance. The college is very punctual in the result publication and time management. They provide complete support for all programs .
Other: I chose this course because of my love towards this subject. Everything in the world, every technology is connected to Mathematics.

TKM will always be a great choice for anyone looking for both good faculty and placements.
Placements: About 25% of students are placed in different reputed companies. Most of the companies were offered good salary packages. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and EC offered placements. About 10% of students got internships in Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: For B.Sc. Physics, they provided a well-equipped Physics Lab. There was every apparatus and everything was more accurate and in good condition. The classroom was a smart classroom with provided sense board and Wi-Fi. The college hostel was close to the college and worked in the most disciplined way. Food was always healthy and hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are most efficient in Physics department. Well-educated Ph.D. teachers were provided. The teaching quality was excellent. The course was curriculum relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams were difficult. Though with the help of faculty, everyone can pass the exam. The pass percentage was 90%.
Other: I chose Physics because I admire the subject and wanted to study more about Physics. Science is always inspiring.

Our college has a perfect campus for study.
Placements: College had good placements records in the past years. There are a lot of workshops that help us during our placements. A lot of opportunities are provided by various companies like Wipro, Infosys, Banking, etc. Around 85% of students are placed every year.
Infrastructure: It provides a great learning experience with all the facilities. Academics are very good. Our college has a rich library and a good big lab. Campus is amazing. Hostel provides the best food and accommodation. Food is available from the canteen pocket friendly.
Faculty: Good faculty members are provided. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and are very knowledgeable. They are ready to help students. They conduct the semester exams very strictly and also provide students friendly atmosphere in the campus. Pass percentage is more than 95%. Faculty members are so cooperative and supportive.
Other: Campus life is very great with greenery and full of pollution-free trees. Students are allowed from 9 am to 5 pm. There are a lot of events, fests, and workshops conducted throughout the session which are interesting and especially career counseling sessions.

TKM College of Arts and Science is the no. 1 college with NAAC A grade.
Placements: B.Sc. botany is given a wonderful career opportunity in nowadays. They have PG programme in botany after completing UG.
Infrastructure: The library is the most highlighted place in our college because they have many collections of books on 2 floors. Classrooms are very neat and clean and they have so many modern facilities like TV, projector, laptop, etc. Canteens are closed during corona but now recovering fast.
Faculty: In colleges,teachers have no commitments to students but our college teachers are like school teachers. They give daily homework and monthly assignments. They conduct tests every week and teachers encourage students in both study and extracurricular activities. The semester exam preparation is interesting. Around 99% of students pass out all subjects every year.
Other: Botany gives more knowledge than other courses. In civil service exams, like IFS, botany and Zoology have special peers. In the 2 years, more than 6 programs have been conducted, and we arranged a botanical garden. There are many plants and animals. Every week we go to a garden and it is maintained well.
