It is a worthy college to take admission as the faculty go into details and improve your knowledge.

Placements: Everyone from my senior batch got placed. The college provides many opportunities for students to prove themselves. Firstly, the college provides industrial training of 6 months which includes accommodation, travel and stipend in both national and international companies. If students work hard in it, they will get placed in the same companies (PPO).

Infrastructure: It is more like an institution than a college. It has three classrooms, four offices for accounts department, counsellors, DDI and a staff room for teachers. We have a kitchen area in which we perform our production practicals and also a dummy restaurant for F and B service practicals and basic learning in an outlet. For front office, we have a small air-conditioned lab. It has a front desk to learn the basic responsibilities of a front office professional.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best. They all are well-educated and have been in industries for 7 to 8 years. They make us visit different industries and 5-star properties such as The Lalit, Oberoi and Big Bazaar. The course curriculum includes ODCs (Outdoor Catering) which is mostly for boys in which they get to work as an F and B professional.

Other: The college conducts small festivals or celebrations on Independence Day in the college premises itself. An event known as Laavitas is celebrated in every February. It is a sports event conducted for 3 to 4 days in Chandigarh or cities where other UEI branches are situated.

Good international placements.

Placements: The college has good placement cell across India which helps the students in getting placements not only in Chandigarh or Punjab but across the country. The college also provides international internships to the students after which students mostly get the offer letter from the same property. Ritz Carlton, Dubai, Meydan Hotel, Dubai, Eurotel, and France are few of the international hotels where a lot of UEI alumni are working.

Infrastructure: The college is equipped with all modern facilities and infrastructure. The kitchen lab is fantastic and replicates a complete, full-fledged commercial kitchen. There are more than 8 burners to practice. Restaurant lab is also fantastic with all cutlery. Every year, UEI holds a National Sports Event where students from all institutes participate Le Vitesse.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have been from the industry only which helps us to understand the practical world much better. In the first year, we got an opportunity to have ODCs followed by 6 months internship in the second year. The curriculum is of international standard and the international certificate from hotel school. The Hague helps to grab international opportunities.

Other: The college is located in Sector 34, Chandigarh, which is an education hub of the city and can be easily accessed from anywhere in the Tricity. There is Kapil Dev Scholarship option where students got good financial aid in their fee.
