UIFM offers BSc course in various specialisations. These specialisations include Direction & Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing, Acting, and Sound Recording & Design. In addition, the eligibility criteria for admissions is that candidates should have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Candidates cannot get direct admission to the UIFM.  Unitedworld Institute of Films & Media (UIFM) admissions are based on performance in both Karnavati University Film & Media Admission Test (KUFMAT) followed by a Personal Interview (PI). Also, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria.
