No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India. 

Humanities as a stream provides a wide range of courses that can be studied after completing their 12th grade. Pursuing any of these degrees prepares you to understand the various levels of humanities and, as a result, carve out an appropriate job path. Candidates in the humanities can apply for positions in the government sector, such as banking firms, government ministries, legal firms, and political analysts.

Content Writer, Civil Services, Human Resource Manager, Defense Services, Lawyer, Journalist, Counsellor, and Therapist positions are available. As freshers, humanities graduates can expect to earn between INR 2-6 LPA.

University College of Arts, Commerce, and Law offers Degree and Certificate courses including 1 UG and 19 PG courses. Additionally, it also has Advanced Masters, Doctorate courses. LL.M.	Candidate with I.T.I as basic qualification is not eligible for appearing the LAWCET Examination
MBA/PGDM	Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.
BBA	Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised educational board. Candidate appeared for 10+2 exam and is waiting for the result can also apply.

In Humanities and Social Science subjects,  there are more theoretical aspects that need to be learned and analysed. Simply the reason why there are higher studies and students can do research work through programmes such as Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Humanities courses use interpretive approaches in which critical thinking is used to consider various ideas/ideologies. It also focuses on providing insight into themes such as the human condition and ethics. Students who pursue humanities classes after the 12th grade get in-depth knowledge of numerous areas of society such as historical events, human behavior, and the relationships between various groups.
