An overpriced college for a low-value course.
Placements: A good thing about our college is that there is a 100% placement record. Around 4.2 LPA is the highest package from the previous batch, as far as I know. 1.8 LPA is the lowest package, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Jindal, Subros, Hindalco, Larsen and Toubro Limited, and Vishakha came for placements for my course. Mainly, Subros and Hyundai Motors gave internship opportunities to students. The percentage is 100% for those who are interested in it. Additionally, Kia Motors came this year for internships. BSNL is also there. I am not confirmed about the top roles, but as discussed by seniors, the conclusion is that the role of junior supervisor is given.
Infrastructure: I do not exaggerate, but facilities and infrastructure provided for my course are overall decent. All the instruments and machines are available. Classrooms are decent, although a few classrooms have broken artificial roof panels. Labs are good, and the library has a nice collection of books and enough space. Hostel facilities are average. Mess food is just edible, and the canteen is decent. Medical facilities are available 24/7 (4/5). Sports facilities include a large ground, a basketball court, and two outdoor volleyball courts.
Faculty: Some teachers are kind and helpful. They have proper knowledge about their field. While some are arrogant, only concerned about attendance, and do not care about students. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the question paper is medium. Students must score 40 marks out of 100, which is the total of the semester examinations.
Other: I chose my course because my mentor suggested it. It seemed to be good advice, as most companies want electrical and mechanical engineering students. This is the best thing about it. Some EEE students get 2–3 job offers. I wish we had more practical hands-on experience in the advanced technologies present at the main BIT Mesra campus from the beginning of the course. Events held are pretty exciting and fun. Still, I wish we had access to all the events held at the main campus to attend, as only a few are allowed.

College are well because infrastructure well and teachers are good.
Placements: Approximately all students who were interested got placed. The highest package was 4.2 LPA, and the lowest was 2.3 LPA. The top recruiting companies included TCS, Hindalco, and Anand Group. All students were required to do an internship, and I did mine at Steel City Bokaro SAIL.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were well, including well-equipped labs and a well-maintained college campus. Our college hostel was good, and the food quality in the mess and canteen was also good. The medical facilities, sports, and games were all well-managed. Our college campus organized an annual Sports Day and Unifesto, the annual function every year.
Faculty: Teachers were supportive and explained any course-related doubts well. Most of teachers were Ph.D. qualified, and their teaching was so good. In the final year of the course, all students were required to complete a good project, which helped make them industry-ready. Exams were not difficult because teachers taught well. Professors were very supportive.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because it offered good opportunities, and I belonged to a middle-class family. I wanted to gain knowledge related to industrial machinery and improve my confidence. The college organized events like TechFest, Unifest, Annual Sports Day, cricket and football tournaments. Scholarships were provided by the state government. Extracurricular activities included NSS, PT, and games.

Placements: Approximately 90-92% of students got placed in top companies. The highest salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.50 LPA. The top companies are Wipro, Aditya Birla Group, and Wheels India.
Infrastructure: Facilities are better in this college. Our classrooms have 24X7 electricity supply. We have a library on our campus and various books are available. Our hostel facilities are better. Wi-Fi is also available. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not tough.
Other: I chose this course because this is the most demanding branch in today's world. Our college organises various fests like Unifesto and Technical fest.

I am satisfied in terms of placements but fee structure is not good.
Placements: It is a good college in Ranchi by which students can do a diploma in engineering. Tata, Wipro, L&T, and many more companies visit our campus to hire students. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 18,000 per month to Rs 20,000 per month. This company can provide internships from big companies like Tata.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but other than this students can get good workshop laboratory, and classes are good but never the less. Library is good filled with books. The medical facilities are also provided. The canteen is available. Sports and games are conducted regularly. The food is not appropriate to which they charge.
Faculty: Faculty members are good but not all, most important in this college syllabus and exams are tough than other polytechnic colleges. Syllabus is difficult because it is a part of Birla Institute of Technology. Semester exams are easy on online mode but in offline it is hard, and the passing percentage is good.
Other: This course diploma is not high package placements course, and is especially for financially weak students but in terms of fee structure this is expensive.

Our college is absolutely the best.
Placements: Our college has more than 90% of placements provided. The average salary package was Rs. 12,000 per month. The top recruiting companies in our college are Ceat Tyres, BPL, IBM, etc. The role of a diploma trainee is offered to students in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is well established and good. It has smart classes and a good library with a huge number of books. The hostel is good, and Wi-Fi facilities are provided both in the hostel and in the library. Our college has so many sports grounds.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are supportive, helpful, and guide us in every instance. The university believes in making engineers ready for industry. Semesters are neither too hard nor too easy. The pass percentage is 30%.
Other: Our college organises fests and events very regularly.
