I am satisfied because of its faculty members and placements.

Placements: Approximately 90-92% of students got placed in top companies. The highest salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.50 LPA. The top companies are Wipro, Aditya Birla Group, and Wheels India.

Infrastructure: Facilities are better in this college. Our classrooms have 24X7 electricity supply. We have a library on our campus and various books are available. Our hostel facilities are better. Wi-Fi is also available. The food served in the mess is good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not tough.

Other: I chose this course because this is the most demanding branch in today's world. Our college organises various fests like Unifesto and Technical fest.

Good college for middle class students searching for job right after Diploma

Placements: The placement record is 100% but those students who have not passed their semester exams are not eligible to join their placed companies. Infosys and Tata are some of the top recruiting companies. About 60-70% of students get internships. The top role offered is Junior Engineer. The maximum starting monthly salary is Rs 21,000 and the minimum salary is Rs 10,000 after Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical branches.

Infrastructure: The overall facilities are not too good. Here, Wi-Fi is good, classrooms and library are good, but hostel facilities are not that good. For example, bathrooms are not well maintained as they are cleaned but not maintained very well. The food is not too good and no non-veg is available. Although you can pay and eat it in the canteen. Medical facilities are very good here and places for football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and badminton is available here. The college has a big campus.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified as all have PhDs in their respective fields. The course curriculum is relevant and it also contains practical classes and makes students ready for industries. The exams are not much difficult but you have to study for passing these exams. The pass percentage is 85% to 90%.

Other: This college is good for higher studies and selection is also good in Electrical and Mechanical branches. There are many sports and cultural events held monthly. The campus is not much crowded and it's well maintained. For connectivity, all kinds of vehicles are available for transportation and all SIM network is also available, especially the VI network perfectly available here. The campus is spread over 2 acres. They provide scholarships for OBC, ST, and SC students. In extra circular activity, we have sports and yoga sessions.

An overpriced college for a low-value course.

Placements: A good thing about our college is that there is a 100% placement record. Around 4.2 LPA is the highest package from the previous batch, as far as I know. 1.8 LPA is the lowest package, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Jindal, Subros, Hindalco, Larsen and Toubro Limited, and Vishakha came for placements for my course. Mainly, Subros and Hyundai Motors gave internship opportunities to students. The percentage is 100% for those who are interested in it. Additionally, Kia Motors came this year for internships. BSNL is also there. I am not confirmed about the top roles, but as discussed by seniors, the conclusion is that the role of junior supervisor is given.

Infrastructure: I do not exaggerate, but facilities and infrastructure provided for my course are overall decent. All the instruments and machines are available. Classrooms are decent, although a few classrooms have broken artificial roof panels. Labs are good, and the library has a nice collection of books and enough space. Hostel facilities are average. Mess food is just edible, and the canteen is decent. Medical facilities are available 24/7 (4/5). Sports facilities include a large ground, a basketball court, and two outdoor volleyball courts.

Faculty: Some teachers are kind and helpful. They have proper knowledge about their field. While some are arrogant, only concerned about attendance, and do not care about students. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the question paper is medium. Students must score 40 marks out of 100, which is the total of the semester examinations.

Other: I chose my course because my mentor suggested it. It seemed to be good advice, as most companies want electrical and mechanical engineering students. This is the best thing about it. Some EEE students get 2–3 job offers. I wish we had more practical hands-on experience in the advanced technologies present at the main BIT Mesra campus from the beginning of the course. Events held are pretty exciting and fun. Still, I wish we had access to all the events held at the main campus to attend, as only a few are allowed.
