Absolutely dissatisfied of canteen and infrastructure and really good teaching staffs.
Placements: The students should have above 70% in the higher secondary marks. The highest package was 1,500,000 and the lowest was 400,000. Top recruiters were almonds, etc. The students should have above 60%. The roles included GIS analyst, cartographer, environmental monitoring, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi connection in the CAD lab for the students. There are more laboratories on the campus for their course. There is a library in the college with more books. The quality of the facility at the college is really good. There is a canteen and a sports room, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well-trained and experienced staff on the campus and have completed their Ph.D. in the relevant departments. The course is related to Earth-based studies. The semester is conducted by Anna University. In the exam hall, there is a flying squad in the college for supervision.
Other: I chose this course because I like to study about the Earth. The best thing about the course is that we can create maps for various uses. We should improve our programming skills. Events like symposiums and sports days are conducted each year on the campus.

Our college faculty members are very knowledgeable.
Placements: Around 100% of students get placed in our college. The average salary package is offered in our course. Infosys is the top recruiting company. Around 50% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library available are very good. Sports are very improbable. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very talented and very knowledgeable. They hold doctorates. Semester exams are very tough. Our college is based at Anna University so many offers are available.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested with this topics.

I am satisfied with faculty members and placements in the previous batch.
Placements: In our college, almost 97% of students are placed in several companies and fields. Only a few students have decided to study for higher degrees in the previous year. Mindtree is one of the top recruiting companies, and a few students have been placed at Infosys. Almost 98% of students get internships at Geosavvy in Tirunelveli and at Infomaps in Chennai. The top role offered is in the IT field or as a leader of a survey company.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities are quite appreciable. It has separate computer labs for practice and course-related objects. The lab comes with a free and unlimited LAN internet cable, which is free to use anytime for study purposes. The hostel facilities are much more appreciable. The food tastes average. The college has a playground that includes several games and sports. The canteen is a bit smaller and the food items available in it are much fewer and in smaller quantities.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified and have enough knowledge regarding the course and field. They are very helpful in studies and in placements. The study portions and materials do not create interest in studying. Compared to other departments, this course is quite easy and understandable. The average pass percentage is 97%.
Other: I chose the course because it is different from other courses. Many students are unaware of this course and if it is made more widely known, many more students will willingly enroll. The college has several events like a farewell, a symposium, a workshop, etc.

Review of University V.O.C. College of Engineering, Thoothukudi.
Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got an internship. It does not provide any company due to some unwanted staff members. We must get the placement for our safe zone. At our time, students didn't get any call from any other companies. So students try to read themselves.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good for surfing and downloading. Lab facilities are also good. The library is quite small compared to other colleges library. I am a day scholar, but I asked my friends about our college hostel they said it is quite good at food. It provides spacious rooms, and it is good in hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good to speak. They are friendly. But we must be in a limit to enjoy friendly relations. Not completely but they make us a bit ready to handle machines.
Other: I was not interested in the mechanical engineering course, and I like to become an electronics and communication engineering. But unfortunately, I have chosen the mechanical engineering course. At first, I hated the department after that I like my course. I wish the college should conduct some seminars about interview process like many rounds and HR round. Our college will conduct some symposium and some department related programs. Moreover, it is good.

This course earns you money easily.
Placements: I have been studying Geo-Informatics for the previous 3 years. This course is full of future scope. Almost 80% of students are placed. More than 20% of students continue their higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Shell, etc., visit our campus. More than 90% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Our college has lab facilities, adequate classrooms, and a library filled with books. In the girls' hostel, rooms are not good as in the boys' hostel. The food is average. Hostel buildings are not well-liked. The canteen is small and has limited options. Medical facilities are available. Our college encourages sports and other activities.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-trained and qualified by government staff entrance exams. The semester exams are easy when you understand the concepts in the class. The pass percentage is about 95%. During the college period, students are taken on industrial visits, workshops, etc.
Other: This course gives you knowledge about satellite data, image processing, map creation, etc. This course has a future scope. There can be some extracurricular activities like cultural events and festivals on our campus.

It's totally worth joining with good placement support.
Placements: In our college, almost 40% of students were placed in campus interviews till now. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, Ugam Solutions, Hexaware and many more. Almost 20% of students got internships in small companies. The roles offered in our course are data analyst, software engineer.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility with good speed. We have 6 labs and each has Wi-Fi, a printer and a scanner. The classroom here is spacious and has a perfect study environment. Our college is well known for sports, with a variety of games for both girls and boys.
Faculty: The teachers we are assigned are well trained and knowledgeable. They use hybrid techniques for teaching according to the requirements of that time. This course is very relevant. Semester exams are standard. The pass percentage here is assigned by Anna University.

Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
