Candidates seeking Admission in Visvesvaraya College of Engineering need to appear for Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Students who have been offered admission to UVCE Bangalore BTech courses are required to make payment of the first-year fees at the last stage of the admission process. To avail of the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering scholarships, students must meet the eligibility stated by the concerned authority. Candidates whose parents’ annual income is less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs and students irrespective of Caste/ Community/ Religion, (2A, 3A, 3B and others) who have studied for a period of 7 academic years (commencing from Class 1. up to the qualifying examination either continuously or in broken period) and whose parents’ annual income is less than or equal to INR 44,500 are eligible to claim the Post Metric Scholarship/Food & accommodation/reimbursement of Tuition, Laboratory, Library, Sports and Examination fees from the Backward Classes Welfare Department as per the norms of Government of Karnataka.
