Very good college and there exists certain good faculties.

Placements: Our MSC chemistry batch at V.O.Chidhambaram College had about 75% of students placed in various industries. The highest package offered was around 10 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA, with an average of 5.5 LPA. The most common roles offered were research scientist, quality control analyst, and chemical engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college provides instruments like UV, IR, and CV-related instruments so as to experience the industry level and hands-on training that students require to showcase their skills as freshers in the industries where they would be actually working. The mess food and sports would be really a highlighting part of our college.

Faculty: The teachers were highly experienced and knowledgeable, solving and rectifying the queries proposed by the students so as to maintain the highest integrity of education. The course is up-to-date and shows no lagging of newer technologies. Semester exams were quite easy, and the pass percentage is 60%.

Other: This course offers students the highest industry-level jobs related to fields of science, and there are many events and programs inaugurated in our college, and we enjoy to the fullest our college life, which every student prefers.

Satisfied with the faculty and college.

Placements: Our college offers placement in TMB, IT companies, TCS, Capgemini, Fosta a construction company in Singapore, and many software companies. They didn't send any of us to any internships that were bad about it. Our principal did many great things for us.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat nice it has all facilities like a library, indoor stadium, amenity center, and culture halls. Some classrooms are poor infrastructure but also the fees for a course were very low. It is ranked 54 positions in NIRF among 50000 colleges all over India.

Faculty: Teachers are kind-hearted and a knowledge bank. They always make us attend many seminars and camps conducted by many companies and IIC UGC STRIDE and many things. Semester exams are conducted in April and November by the Manonmaniyam Sundaranar University.

Other: I choose Physics because it's a broad stream. It has many scopes and there are a lot of scholarships provided for Physics students. Our department always places 1 position in every event conducted by our college and we also participated in many extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, YRC sports, etc. It is also an important paper in the 4th semester.
