Welingkar Institute of Management is a reputed institute for management courses, so getting admission here is not a cup of tea unless you have a decent score in entrance tests like CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA and are prepared well for the group discussion and interview. However, one can also get direct admission subject to payment of higher fees and limited availability of seats.

Candidates seeking admission must have a valid MAHCET score to be eligible for the admission. As per the Welingkar Mumbai MAHCET cutoff 2024, the last-round CAT percentile stood at 85 for admission to institute for the General category students in the All India quota. As per the details available on the official website and the latest admission brochure, PGDM /MBA admissions at Welingkar Mumbai are completely based on the merit of students in their UG degree along with their performance in the national/ state/ university-level entrance exam. Similar is the case for other courses admission, students who meet the eligibility criteria of having completed their UG and PG degrees, respectively, with a valid score in national/ state/ university-level entrance exams can secure admission. However, for some certificate & Diploma courses direct admissions are offered by the institute. 

Welingkar Mumbai cutoff 2024 for the PGDM courses differs on yearly basis. Welingker accepts various entrance exams scores for admission to PGDM courses. Candidates with valid score in CAT, CMAT, XAT and ATMA (for FTM) are eligible for Welingkar admissions. 

As per the previous year cutoffs, the overall percentile for CMAT is 85, CAT is also 85, XAT is 70. Hence, getting a seat at Welingkar with 60 percentile is not at all possible for the General All India category candidates. So, we can say that 60 percentile is not acceptable to get admission to the institute.
