A. The course work under PhD is of one academic year (two semesters) out of which the first semester is full-time. It is expected that during the first semester, the student will report the college/ department/ section/ laboratory to attend the sessions as per the timetable. Students have to complete a total of 14 credits (in the first semester) along with four credits (semester II) and a total of 18 credits with CGPI as per the PhD regulations to become eligible for registration to the PhD programme.

A. The first-year fee for other than regular students of PhD at KJ Somaiya is INR 1.15 lakh.
