SET for Design 2016 Eligibility Criteria & Exam Centres
SID Exam is the means through which aspirants can secure admission in design programmes offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design.
Also known as SET for Design, SID Exam is scheduled to be conducted by Symbiosis International University on May 7, 2016. SID Exam 2016 will be held as part of the morning session of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) from 9:30 am to 12 noon.
The test paper for SET for Design will comprise of 150 questions which aspirants need to attempt in two and a half hour duration. Candidates who clear the SET for Design entrance exam are further shortlisted for admissions on the basis of their performance in the Studio Test and Personal Interview round.
SID Exam 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants can apply for SID Exam 2016 if they have passed their qualifying exam in the 10+2 format (from any stream like Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
Apart from this, candidates also meet the eligibility criteria of SET for Design if they have passed 10+3 diploma course as approved by State Board of Technical Education with atleast 50% aggregate marks in the final exam.
SID officials share that candidates who possess relevant portfolio as well as Creative Aptitude & Skills which are needed to make a career in the field of design would be given preference for admissions.
SID Exam 2016 Test Centres
SET for Design is scheduled to be conducted at 19 test cities in the country. Aspirants will be allotted the exam centre for SID Exam on the basis of the preference mentioned by them in their SET for Design application form.
