100 free engg, mgmt courses on tablet
With the urge to launch smart online engineering and management courses on tablet devices, Tata McGraw Hill Education and Vriti have come into a partnership. These courses will be made available globally on Micromax Funbook, Micromax's e-learning tablet.
The students will get a self-paced, interactive learning platform with intelligent lesson plans in terms of e-books, assignments, videos, multimedia, and personalised tips. Such pre-bundled courses in their summarised version will carry the option to upgrade to the full course through e-payments on the tablet. As part of the initiative, over 100 free full courses are planned to be introduced in the higher education segments of Engineering and Management. The release is planned for early September with the first set of courses.
In a press statement about the launch, Ajay Shukla, managing director at Tata McGraw-Hill Education said that this partnership will empower students to learn anytime, anywhere with access to education content and resources. Read more
