17 Haryana tech institutions on AICTE blacklist
Beware students! Check your institutes’ statutory status before getting admission in Haryana or any institute in any part of the country.
Recently, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has blacklisted 17 technical institutions in Haryana, conducting technical programmes without the approval of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
AICTE is a statutory body in the country for ensuring coordinated and integrated development of technical and management education and maintenance of standards.
The DTE has issued a notice in public interest, advising students and parents to not seek admission in such institutions, universities or colleges in any part of the country. Such unapproved institutions charge hefty fees from students and issue fake degrees or certificates that are not certified by any statutory body.
It is recommended that whenever you plan to take admission in any technical institute, first check the status of the institute on AICTE website and http://www.techeduhry.nic.in.
