AEEE 2015: Fee Structure for B.Tech Degree Programmes

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University’s fee structure for the 2015 admissions into B.Tech programmes through AEEE 2015 has been released.
The fees payable at the three campuses (Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore) of Amrita University include institute fees which comprise of tuition fees, university fees (including exams) and caution deposit which is refundable at the end of the programmes.
Apart from institute fees, the hostel fees comprise of room rent, mess charge and caution deposit (refundable). Students also have to pay one time counselling charge of Rs. 5,000 which is non-refundable. Fees are to be paid annually except caution deposit and one time counselling charge which are to be paid once. See the fee structure table below.
Amrita University provides scholarship scheme to 15% of the top ranking candidates, who passed the qualifying examination from Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and admitted in the respective campuses. Scholarship amount of Rs. 50,000/- per annum will be waived from the tuition fees as per the official statement of Amrita University.
The fee structure varies among the three campuses of Amrita University. Out of the three campuses, Coimbatore campus has the highest amount of fees to be paid annually and Amritapuri campus has the least amount to be paid, that is, Rs. 1,74,000 per annum (Institute Fees), Rs. 75,000 per annum (Hostel Fees) and Rs. 1,51,500 per annum (Institute Fees), Rs. 57,000 per annum (Hostel Fees) respectively (excluding Caution Deposit and One Time Counselling Charge).
