AICTE has recently extended the timeline for receiving application for establishing new colleges till 31st January

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has recently extended the date for receiving application for establishing new colleges till 31st January. This is likely to protract the admissions to the Pharmacy, Engineering, Master of Computer Application (MCA), and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

According to sources, the procedure was supposed to be completed by December last year so that the academic sessions of the newly-granted colleges are not delayed. However, with the extension of the dateline to 31st January, the colleges will have to rush in to finish the admission process.
