AIEEE mock online test launched in Nagpur

Candidates in Nagpur who are planning to appear for All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2012 will only have the online option. A mock online test has been launched by CBSE to give students a chance to get familiar with the new system. Students can log on to give the exam and check their comfort level.

CBSE has also decided to accept requests for changes in the application form for certain categories. From 23rd December, 2011 onwards, students who have selected an offline exam center can change to an online center. However, changing from an online exam centre to offline is not allowed.

As per the new provisions, students can also change their details regarding their payment mode or caste category, if there has been a mistake while filling the form earlier. The exact format of the test has been loaded on the server as a mock test.

From AIEEE website, students can choose from the mock online test or download the test to practice at their leisure. This test is going to be the unique of all as students can change their language mode as many times as possible during the test itself.

In 2011, CBSE had given an option of online test but there were no takers for the online exam in Nagpur. Director of a well-known institute Nisha Kothari believes the online exam dates are clashing with other competitive exams; hence it is better not to opt for it. Moreover, the IIT-JEE results would have been declared before the AIEEE online test, so there is no point in getting stressed and prepare for another exam after that.
