ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education recently kicked off a four-year B. Tech Programme five disciplines, including civil engineering, computer science, electronics and mechanical engineering

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education recently kicked off a four-year B.Tech Programme in the following disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

These eight-semesters, full-time, campus-based programmes will equip students with comprehensive and critical understanding in various branches of engineering.

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Class XII examination or its equivalent with pass in each of Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry (M.P.C.) and English subjects.

Admission Process:

The admissions to these courses will be based on an All India Admission Test (ATIT). Alternatively, scores of JEE (Main / Advanced) 2013 / State Level / Other National Level Engineering Entrance Tests will also be considered.

Course fee: Rs 20,000 to be paid by all the selected candidates by 2nd week of June, 2013.

After the successful completion of the program, students will be awarded B.Tech degrees by IFHE (a Deemed University), subject to rules and regulations.

About All India Admission Test (ATIT):

An online test of two hours, ATIT will encompass objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in multiple choice format. There will be 30 questions in each of the core subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 30 questions in English, as per the syllabus indicated on Page Nos. 12-15 in the Application Guidelines.

Eligibility for ATIT:

  • Students securing at least 50% aggregate in Class XII examination or its equivalent with pass in each of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects
  • Final year students of Class XII or its equivalent awaiting examination results may also apply.
