BITSAT 2014: How to apply and admission process

BITSAT, a national level exam, is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani for admission to integrated first-degree programmes offered by all the three campuses of BITS - Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

The exam this year is scheduled to be conducted on between May 14 and June 1, 2014. The last date to apply for the exam, without late fee,  was February 15, 2014.

The application process for the exam was online and the application form was available on the official website of BITS - http://www.bitsadmission.com.

Students were required to pay the prescribed fees after registering themselves online. The application fee was Rs. 1900/-(Rs. 1400/- for female candidates).

In case if a student opted for Dubai as a test center , the application fee for male and female applicants was US $ 50 (or Indian Rs. 3000/- ).

Students who successfully register for the exam and are able to book the test dates need to download the ‘Hall ticket’.

Procedure for admission:

• In addition to applying for BITSAT 2014, students also have to apply for admission to BITs with details like their 12th marks and preferences to different degree VII programmes offered.
• Students can acquire the requried application form with detailed application procedure and the final list of Degree programmes offered from the officail website of BITS by May 20, 2014.
• The complete and filled in form with the required application fee needs to be submitted to the below mentioned below and should reach the same on or before June 30, 2014 before 5.00 PM:
