BITSAT 2015: Fee Structure for BITS Pilani, Goa & Hyderabad
BITS 2015 Fee Structure - The online entrance exam of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has begun today for admissions to BE (H) integrated first degree programmes offered by the three campuses of the institute- Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. The computer based test (CBT) –BITSAT 2015 is scheduled to take place from May 14, 2015 to May 29, 2015. Candidates qualifying the exam and eligibility criteria of the institute shall be called for admissions to the desirable campus of the institute. Those being selected for admissions have to pay the admission fees. The admission fees for different programmes offered at the three campuses is different. The fees for integrated first degree programmes which includes B. E. (Hons.), M. Sc. (Hons.), B. Pharm. (Hons.) & M.Sc. (Tech.), Higher Degrees and PhD for the session 2015-16 is given below. Although, the fees for any specific programme which requires special treatment, fees or mode of payment shall be prescribed by the Vice-Chancellor in consultation.
Fees once paid for any course/ courses shall not be refunded to students. Students who will be taking admission to Practice School II will have to pay the semester fees and the summer term fees since the practice school is longer and extends till summer. The refundable fees - caution deposits and mess advance will only be refunded at the time of withdrawal from the institute and will be paid through crossed cheques/Bank Drafts.

$ The fees is for students entering FD, HD and PhD courses beginning this year 2015. Semester, term and admission fees for these students shall be revised every year and will not be exceeded beyond 15% each year until any announcement of levy or tax on the fees. Then the fees shall be increased for all students admitted to the college.
@ Students who are not getting any scholarship or fellowship might get full or partial tution fee waived by Vice-Chancellor.
* Around 24% of students taking admission to First Degree Programs get concession from the tuition fee between 25% - 80% in form of scholarships.
^ Students taking admission to the Higher Degree Programs either get concession in the tuition fee or are selected for Teaching Assistantships with stipend upto Rs 10400 per month.
# In addition to tuition fee waiver of upto 90% for students admitting to the PhD program, they will also be considered for Project/ Research assistantship with stipend ranging from Rs 13200 to Rs 18200 per month.
