BITSAT Results 2011 Will Be Declared On July 1, 2011!

Students can see their BITSAT scores right after the exam but the Admit List and Wait List for BITS Pilani campuses will be released on July 1, 2011.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is a Deemed to be University that conducts its own entrance exam for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes offered at its Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2011 will be conducted from 11th May to 10th June. BITSAT 2011 scores for individual students can be seen right after they finish exams but BITSAT Results 2011, BITS Admission List and Wait List will be declared on 1st July, 2011.

BITSAT Results 2011

BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) is a computer-based online test that screens students for admission to following programmes:

B.E.(Hons.) in:
- Chemical Engg.
- Civil Engg.
- Computer Science
- Electrical and Electronics Engg.
- Electronics & Communication Engg.
- Electronics & Instrumentation Engg
- Mechanical Engg.
- Manufacturing Engg.
B.Pharm.(Hons.)
M.Sc.(Hons.) in:
- Biological Sciences
- Chemistry
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Physics
M.Sc.(Tech.) in:
- General Studies
- Finance
- Information Systems

Though students can see their BITSAT scores right after the exam, they are not allowed to repeat the test in the same year. Those who make it to the Merit List are only eligible for admission only if they get at least 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12.

Students have to submit their 12th marks and preferences for different degree programmes by June 30, 2011. BITSAT Admit List and Wait List for eligible students will be declared on July 1, 2011.
