CBSE announces last date to select slot for JEE main 2014 computer exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced January 17, 2014 to be the last day to select the date and slot for the computer based by students appearing for JEE main 2014. Candidates who have opted for the JEE main computer based exam have to log in to the JEE Main official website with the application number and password allotted to them and select the desired slots for the exam.
The dates from which candidates can select to give the computer based test are April 9, April 11, April 12 and April 19, 2014. The exam will be held each day in two different time slots which are 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.
As per CBSE information bulletin, if a candidate who has opted for JEE Main 2014 computer based exam does not select any date or time slot for the exam, then he/she will randomly be allotted a date as well as slot, subject to availability.
The date and slot selected for the JEE Main 2014 will be clearly put on the admit card. The admit card will be available for download from March 1, 2014 onwards. CBSE has also stated that students who have registered for the computer based JEE Main 2014 will be mailed the exam question paper after the exam has been conducted.
This year 1.71 lakh students have registered for the JEE Main 2014 computer based test out of the total 13.56 lakh candidates who have registered for JEE to be held in April 2014.
