CBSE chairman Vineet Joshi has reportedly informed that students can expect the result of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Class XII board exams by the end of next week. However, according to sources, the result would be out around May 26.

National Infomatics Centre (NIC)

The exam was conducted during March 1 to April 17, 2013 with lakhs of students appearing for the same across the country. Moreover, the result is highly anticipated by JEE aspirants whose admission to top notch engineering institutes would also depend on their Class XII results.

The result for JEE (Mains) was declared on May 7 while no ranks were given. A separate rank list for it would be declared by July 7 for admissions to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning in institutes other than IITs. This list will be based on the JEE main result with 60% of weightage, while Class XII results would have 40% weightage.
