Choice of 1000 online lectures from Kota University!

Today students have internet access, and can learn about almost anything, anywhere and anytime. Helping students from every corner of the world get a classroom like experience, Vardhman Mahavir Open University (VMOU) in Kota, Rajasthan is all set to upload 1000 lectures of 10 minutes each on almost all subjects or courses on its website and social media sites like Youtube.

Vice-chancellor, Kota University, Vinay Kumar Pathak informed that the institute has also launched a separate website for research scholars to strengthen research. The dedicated website will have videos of leading lecturers and guest faculties on different subjects to help the scholars.

Other developments at the University:

• Introduction of short term courses through distance learning so that students enrolled in degree programmes can avail certificates and diploma to have value addition.
• Launch of vocational study centers at Pratapgarh and Bansawara for tribal aiming for capacity building.
