CUSAT CAT 2016 Application Form and Process!

The application process for CUSAT CAT 2016 has commenced. Candidates can fill up the online application form for CUSAT CAT 2016 on the official website till February 22, 2016.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) conducts a Common Admission Test for candidates seeking admissions to various UG and PG programmes including engineering. CUSAT CAT 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on April 30, 2016 at various locations in India. Check CUSAT CAT 2016 important dates here!

Interested candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for CUSAT CAT 2016, only then they will be able to fill up the registration form. Those who have already applied for the exam, can download their admit cards from April 15 to May 1, 2016.

Before applying, students should go through the application process carefully for a successful registration. Candidates can register online through following methods.

CUSAT CAT 2016 Application Form and Process

The online application process comprises of three stages:

Stage 1: Creating login

• To create a login, candidate must enter his/her name, date of birth, email-id and mobile number as per the format given on the screen.
• They must select a secret question and type the answer.
• Then, choose any one of the three categories- Online Registration: Indian and NRI Candidates, Online Registration: Lateral Entry B. Tech, Online Registration: International Candidates, Online Registration: Lateral Entry MCA
• After selecting the course, applicants must choose a User Name (maximum 10 characters), and
• Click ‘Confirm’ button after rechecking all the above details

Stage 2: Filling Online Application Form

At the second stage, candidates can login the application window using the newly created user ID and password. They will be asked to change their password immediately for a safe and secure registration.

• Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, email ID, phone number, course, etc. in the boxes on the screen.
• Fill all the other details in the registration form and upload a recent passport size photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) and a copy of black and white signature (3.5 cm x 1.5 cm).
• Once the uploading is done, aspirants can confirm the same by hitting the ‘CONFIRM’ button.

Stage 3: Payment

• After confirming, students will be directed to the payment window, where they can choose their bank and take printout of the chalan form.
• Candidates need to make payment in the bank after two working days from the date of registration. Please make sure that the chalan has a journal number on it correctly entered by the bank.
• Applicants can also make the payment from any Internet Banking enabled SBI/SBT account.
• Please note that candidate need not have to send any documents in original or a copy of them, to the university, unless requested.
• Aspirants can check their application status after two working days from the date of fee payment.
• Once the application is approved, candidates can take the printout of the application confirmation page.
