The Training and Placement Cell at JIIT organises campus placement for the graduating students each year. Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET)

GCET and Galgotias University set a record in campus recruitment by placing 86% of its students during the placement season for the class of 2014-15. The highlight of the placement season was that 1234 offers were made to the students in first week of placement.

In this placement session, Cognizant hired 583 students and Infosys hired a total of 338 students. Other companies that hired many students from Galgotias was Wipro Technologies (228 students) and Tech Mahindra (77 students).

The placement season at GCET for batch of 2015 will continue till July 2015.

In the year 2014, 92% students from GCET were placed in more than 120 companies which were from the likes of Infosys, Wipro Technologies, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Sobha Developers, Cummins India, ISMT, IBM India, Magic Software, Navyug Infosolutions, Newgen Software Ltd., NIIT Technologies, Intelligrape, Aon Hewitt, R Systems, Hindustan Times, Primary Modules, Mphasis, OSS cube, E&Y, NTT Data, Boston Analyst etc.

In the same year major selections were made by Infosys (84 students) followed by Wipro Technologies (92 students) and Tech Mahindra (65 students). Cognizant also visited Galgotias for State level placement programme (SLPP) and recruited 665 students.

Sharda University

Another educational institute which is known to offer good placements to students is Sharda University. As per the official website, 407 students from the 2013-14 batch of the School of Engineering & Technology were hired as part of the campus placement drive.
