GCET 2016 Syllabus and Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing for Goa CET 2016 can get the information on GCET syllabus and exam pattern on the official website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on May 10 & 11, 2016 at various locations across Goa. Interested candidates can fill up the application form and submit the same before April 2, 2016. GCET 2016 is a state level examination conducted by DTE for admissions to various professional degree courses like Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Homeopathy and other allied courses. Appearing candidates must note that GCET will be a computer based exam which will be held for two days, wherein the Physics and Chemistry paper will take place on May 10 and Mathematics and Biology paper will be held on May 11, 2016.

GCET 2016 Exam Pattern
GCET is based on class 12 syllabus of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Most of the questions in the exam will be based on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English. There will be a total number of 75 questions that needs to be answered in two hours. Aspirants will be awarded one mark each for every correct answer and no system of negative marking will be followed in the exam.

Candidates applying for the exam after April 2, 2016, will have to pay Rs.1000 as late fee. There will be a separate form (Application Form B) for selected candidates, who need to fill the form when GCET 2016 results are out, to apply to different courses. GCET 2016 results are expected to be announced on May 18, 2016 on the official website of DTE.
