GTU cancelled admissions of 77 students

Admissions for technical courses including MBA, MCA, BE, ME, M.Pharm and diploma engineering courses concluded recently. Gujarat Technical University authorities have rigorously verified the documents, and found that 77 cases require strict action. The admission of these 77 students with fake documents has been cancelled. 
A senior official of the university said that most of the students whose admissions have been cancelled had submitted the fake documents. Some of them have not scored even the mandatory 45% marks to meet the eligibility criteria.
After the investigation, it has been found that two students have been granted admission in M.Pharm courses for the last two months while their degree said that the result was declared four days ago!
