Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET), conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, is a state level exam taken by candidates aspiring to secure admission in the to various undergraduate courses including Engineering, Dental, Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing and Homeopathy courses offered by various Government, Government-aided, as well as un-aided colleges in Goa.

The registration process for Goa CET 2015 commenced on March 23, 2015. The last date for receipt of forms for the exam at application reception centre & collecting admit cards is April 1, while, April 30, 2015 is the last date to receive application forms at DTE and collecting admit card (with late fees).

Step 1: Candidates seeking admission will be required to download and take a print out of GCET 2015 prospectus available on the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education. Candidates can also receive application form from the Application Reception centre.

Step 2: The prospectus will contain two different forms namely Application Form A and Form B along with Photo Admit card. Candidates have to submit Application Form A and Photo Admit card to apply in the entrance exam (without late fee) latest by April 1, 2015.

Step 3: The applicants will then have to fill their personal details in Application Form A and also select their centre preferences. Request for change of papers or centre will not be entertained once the Admit card has been issued to the candidates. Also, incomplete forms will not be accepted by the institutes. 

Step 4: Candidates must submit the Application Form (A) in person at the notified application reception centre opted, along with a demand draft of INR 1500 drawn in the favour of Director of Technical Education payable at Panaji, Goa from any Scheduled Bank.

Step 5: The form need to be submitted along with Demand Draft, three passport size and self-attested photocopies of SSCE passing certificate and 12th standard passing or hall ticket (if appearing) IN PERSON at GCET application form receiving centres. The Admission Centre has given two location for the candidates to submit:

Ravindra Bhavan, Margao in South Goa District

Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim in North Goa District

The last date of submitting application form (without late fee) is on April 1, 2015 and forms will be accepted with INR 1000 as late fee till April 30, 2015.

Students should submit Application Form B only after the declaration of results. The receiving of Admission Form B starting from May 5, 2015 and candidates can apply for more than one course. The candidate must carefully go through the prospectus before filling the application form.
