HSBTE (Haryana State Board for Technical Education) Results Declared

The Haryana State Board for Technical Education (HSBTE) has finally declared the results for the third and fifth semester examinations today. The students from various polytechnic colleges in Haryana, who took these examinations in December 2010 and January 2011 can see their results published online.

Since many students are checking their results at the same time, the site may be a bit slow so refresh the webpage and wait patiently if the results are not loading.

Students who are not happy with their results can also apply for re-evaluation or re-checking through their respective college.

This year Polytechnic students took their exams in subjects such as Climatology, Architecture, Information Technology, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Fluid Mechanics, Building Construction, Surveying, Construction Material, Operating System, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Data Communication, Data Structure, Basic Electronics and Computer Programming and Application.

The Haryana State Board for Technical Education (HSBTE), as the name suggests, is a state-government initiative to impart technical knowledge to Haryana students in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, Management, Accounts and Applied Arts & Craft. Set up by the Government of Haryana in 2008, today HSBTE has 147 polytechnic colleges affiliated to it. Of the 147 colleges, 29 are Government colleges, 4 Government aided college and 114 Self Financing Polytechnic colleges.

The HSBTE also has a placement cell that assists students with placements in companies, to launch their careers in their chosen fields. They also conduct annual job fairs where they invite top automobile, and construction companies to put up stalls and interview their students. In the past year, many students have been placed in good jobs in these companies. Students who have passed their examinations can apply to be included in their placement cell. The HSBTE offers Diploma courses in many career-oriented subjects such as Business Management, Finance & Accounting, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Textile Design, Printing, Packaging, Construction and Engineering. So those of you who are interested in gaining valuable technical knowledge can apply for these courses. The eligibility criteria is that the applicant should have passed Matriculation from a recognized University or Board or they should at least have 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

HSBTE conducts entrance examinations every year to admit deserving candidates to various Diploma courses all over the state and about 30,000 candidates appear for these exams every year. These courses are valuable education tools that can jump-start your career towards growth. So do not hesitate to get back to school!
