IIM Ahmedabad Ranked at No.7 in Financial Times
Counted amongst the center of excellence, Indian Institute of Technology Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is celebrating being in the era of golden jubilee. It has been crowned with another achievement after it was ranked seventh in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management 2011 Rankings.

IIM-A is the sole Indian Business institute to feature in the ranking all over again this year after being ranked eighth in 2010. As per the data revealed by FT, IIM-A is the only Indian school which has performed well than and is ahead of London School of Economics and Political Science, Essec and the University of Strathclyde. Universität St.Gallen in Switzerland has secured the first rank, third ranked HEC Paris and fourth ranked ESCP Europe in terms of weighted salary.
Nevertheless, IIM-A students draw the highest salaries at $103,524, among the other 65 programmes that were included in the ranking process. IIM-A were ranked 2 under 'placement success rank'. It has been also noted in the survey that the percentage of women students was 10 which is 5 less than last year. However, it has improved its performance under international mobility category rank (41) and international course experience (42).
