IIT Gandhinagar opening & closing ranks for 2014 admissions

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar is located in the Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat. The institute is amongst the pack of the eight newly established IIT. Initially, the institute admitted students for programmes in Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Over the years, it added two more Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes in Civil Engineering and Materials Science Engineering. Amongst these programmes, the institute is popular for Electrical Engineering Programme.
The institute also offers Masters and Ph. D programs in various fields in science, social science and humanities and engineering.
Admissions to the institute are offered on the basis of JEE Advanced scores. Usually, the rank cut off of the present year is more or less remains similar to the opening and closing ranks of the previous year.
