IIT Kanpur opening & closing ranks for 2014 admissions

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is amongst the first few public research colleges established in India. The college was established in Uttar Pradesh in 1959 and has a huge campus which is spread over an area of 1,100 acres of land.
There are six different departments in the colleges which are Engineering, Science, Management, Design, Humanities & Social Science and Inter Disciplinary department to help the students learn under the best faculties of their respective field. The institute provides its students with latest technologies and research laboratories aiming to learn entrepreneurial skills from the programme.
IIT Kanpur offers various disciplines in engineering programme like Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics & Scientific Computing, Physics, Civil, Aerospace, Biological Sciences & Bioengineering and Materials Science &Engineering to its students.
Admission to various engineering programmes at the institute is on the basis of performance of a candidate in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 entrance test. IIT aspirants can estimate the opening and closing ranks for 2015 admission by having a look at the previous year’s branch wise cut-off list.
