Jamia to help hostelers find lodging

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will make alternative arrangements for students staying in its hostels before hosting 700 guests during the Commonwealth Games (CWG), Vice chancellor Najeeb Jung said on Wednesday.

Commonwealth Games (CWG), Vice chancellor Najeeb Jung said on Wednesday.
While DU colleges have asked its students to vacate hostels to accommodate athletes during CWG, JMI said its students will not be dislodged and will be provided alternative accommodation.
"Students are our number one priority. We want them to be comfortable and secure," Jung said.
"Once the Games are over, the students will enjoy world class accommodation and sports facilities on campus," he added.
