JEE Advanced 2013 Opening & Closing Ranks for IITs: Civil Engineering
Regarded as one of the most popular branches of engineering, Civil Engineering is the second-oldest engineering discipline after military engineering.
The stream is all about designing, constructing and maintaining the various aspects of our physical environment. As a matter of fact, civil engineering is accepted as an answer to all the societal problems by implication of physical and scientific principles.
Civil engineers are individuals who work on the naturally built environment around us. They design, construct and maintain the roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings around us.
