JEE advanced 2013 opening & closing ranks for IITs: Engineering Physics
Engineering Physics as a B.Tech course at IITs involves studying subjects such as mathematics, physics and engineering in amalgamation such that students can develop an understanding about the interrelationship between these disciplines. This course is best suited for those students whose sphere of interest revolves around physics and engineering.
It is advisable that students who want to opt for this course should have a strong base in physics along with engineering design, apart from possessing good problem solving skills. This discipline, unlike other disciplines of engineering, is not confined to only one subject of science because it integrates engineering principles and mathematics so that the desired results can be produced.
