JEE Advanced 2014: How to apply and documents required

A national level exam, JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2014 will be taken by students securing the top 1.5 lakh ranks in JEE Main 2014. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2014.
The registrations process for the same will commence only after the JEE Main results are declared on May 3, 2014.Registrations for the exam will begin on May 4 and end on May 9, 2014, which implies that students will get only five days to register for the exam.
Students need to pay the application fee through a challan that's generated while registering online. The fee, however, can be paid at any SBI (State Bank of India) branch.
The fee for male candidates is Rs 2,000 and its Rs 1000 for SC/ST/ PwD candidates. Women are exempted from the fees.
8 Documents required while registering online:
- Date of Birth
- Class X certificate
- Your signature in JPEG format
- Passport size photograph in JPEG format
- Choice of language for question paper
- Choice of examination city/town
- Category/Sub-Category certificate if applicable
- Year of first attempt in JEE (Advanced) if applicable
