JEE Advanced 2016 Exam Analysis by Allen Career Institute
JEE Advanced 2016 was held on May 22, 2016 at different test centres all over India. There were two paper for JEE Advanced- Paper 1 and Paper 2, while, the first paper was conducted between 9 AM to 12 Noon, the second paper was held from 2 PM to 5 PM. JEE Advanced is a national level examination conducted by seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board (JAB) for admissions to IITs and Indian School of Mines.

According to the official reports, this year around 2 lakh students were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. However, only 1.98 lakh candidates cleared the JEE Mains, in which around 1.56 lakh registered for JEE Advanced. The exam pattern of JEE Advanced has changed as compared to 2015. This year the paper contained 186 marks as compared to 264 marks in the year 2015. There were a lot of other changes in the overall pattern of this exam this year.
