JEE Main 2014: All you need to know!
Launched as a replacement to AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Examination), JEE( Joint Entrance Examination) made its debut in the year 2013.
The exam is spread over two phases : Mains and Advanced. While the former is used for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions in India, the latter is solely for admissions to IITs(Indian Institute of Technology).
Only the top 150,000 rankers in the JEE Mains are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This year, JEE Mains(offline) is scheduled to be conducted on April 6 while the online exam will be held on April 9, 2014, April 11, April 12 and April 19, 2014.
