JEE Main 2014 offline exam: Answer keys available from top coaching institutes

The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the JEE Main 2014 offline exam on April 6, 2014. Approximately 65% of the total 14 lakh students who have registered for JEE this year took the pen and paper based exam. JEE Main is conducted to offer admissions in programmes such as B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning.

 

The offline exam was conducted in two shifts wherein students who opted for admission in B.Tech courses took the exam in the morning slot (ie, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and B.Arch and B.Planning aspirants sat for JEE’s afternoon slot (ie, 2 pm to 5 pm).

 

The JEE Main 2014 had four sets which are Code E, Code F, Code G and Code H. Candidates had the choice to receive the question paper in either English or Hindi as the medium of instruction.

 

Each set in the JEE Main question paper included 90 multiple-choice questions. For every correct answer students will be awarded with four marks and one mark would be deducted for every wrong answer.

The 22 year old coaching institute, FIITJEE has also posted the answer keys for all the sets- E, F, G and H of JEE Main 2014. Candidates can also view the detailed solutions as well as calculate their projected rank on the official website of FIITJEE.

Bansal Classes

Candidates can also access the answer keys for JEE Mains offline exam from Bansal Classes, the famous coaching centre of Kota which helped the city become an engineering entrance training hub. However, in order to view the question papers, answer keys and solutions for the entrance exam, students need to enter their JEE roll number, JEE form number, name and date of birth on the coaching institute’s website.

Career Point

In order to view the answer keys at Career Point candidates need to fill a form and give details such as their name, email address, mobile number and the year they would pass-out from class 12. After filling in this information, candidates can avail information through links such as answer keys, paper & solution, video solution, test paper analysis (PDF and video based) as well as rank & branch predictor.
