JEE Main 2014: Special restrictions on qualifications, gender and categories

JEE Main 2014 AIRs is all set to be out today. Soon after this declaration, the counselling and admission process would commence in full swing.

Students who cleared the exam and will be appearing for the counselling process need to adhere to the eligibility requirements specified earlier. However, there are some restrictions over and above the eligibility requirements released for some Institutes/Branches( which includes special Restrictions on Qualifications, Gender and Categories). Given below are the same.

Please note that the software will not be able to stop submission of choices not allowed as per restrictions stated in the given below table. To warn students about these such restrictions, pop-up messages will be displayed whenever the institute / branch is clicked by a candidate.

Students are advised to read restrictions carefully and he/her should not submit choices if he/she find themselves not eligible as per the restrictions given here. In case, if a student fails to follow these instructions, even after formal issue of the allotment letter, the admission would be denied by that institute and responsibility for the same would lie exclusively with them. The Central Counseling Board would not be responsible for denial of admission in such cases.
