According to Ramesh Batlish, head at FIITJEE, Noida, the aspirants who took the exam today have not been given the question papers today. However, students will be mailed the same tomorrow according to the instructions given by the invigilator.
Talking about the paper, Batlish said, “ The paper was of the similar level as the offline paper. The level of difficulty too was same. As per what I know, Physics was slightly difficult compared to Mathematics and Chemistry was the easiest”.
He further informed that there were no glitches or surprises in the paper as such. Students had already seen the offline paper and they had an idea about how the paper would be. Everything was the same – the pattern, types of questions and difficulty level. Also, there were no unexpected questions in the paper and as mentioned earlier, JEE Main 2015 online paper was of the same nature that the offline exam.
As per students who took the exam today, in Mathematics, topics like 3D and Vectors were given more weightage. More number of questions in the Maths section came from these two topics. However, equal weightage was given to other chapters.
This year, the exam is being taken by around 13.1 lakh students. Check out the exam analysis for JEE Main 2015 offline exam here.
