JEE Main 2015 Online Exam Live!

JEE Main 2015 – The online mode of JEE Main 2015 is all set to commence today, April 10, 2015. The exam being conducted today and tomorrow is only for B.Tech admissions. The exam will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (3 hours) and if required, a second session will also be conducted from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Shiksha.com reporters have reached one of the centres in Greater Noida where almost 400 students are taking the exam. JEE Main 2015 Online Exam Live Updates
8:45 am: Shiksha reporters reach a JEE Main 2015 online exam centre in Greater Noida.
8: 50 am: We get talking to students present at the centre. While some students look confident, there are some who are quite nervous.
8:53 am: We also come across students who are still studying either in groups or individually at the exam centre
8: 57 am: Parents helping students to find their respective rooms based on their roll numbers.
9: 00 am: Students getting confused regarding the address of the exam centre. But, fellow aspirants help each other.
9: 10 am: Students and parents start gathering in front of the gate from where the entry to exam hall is allowed.
9: 15 am: Students coming at the last moment are nervous and are facing difficulties finding their rooms and roll numbers mentioned on the board outside the JEE Main 2015 exam centre. Shiksha team at the centre assists them with the same.
9:41 am: Students reach the venue late because the exam centre location is displayed wrong on GPS and there are no boards pointing towards the exam centres.
9:45 am: Authorities do not allow students to enter the exam centre. Around 20 students are standing outside the exam centre.
9:50 am: Parents try to reason out with authorities but no one listens. The principal is called to speak to parents and students at the gate but he has not come even after 20 minutes.
10: 10 am: The director comes out and says, " Since, its an online exam, the slot on the computers assigned begins from 9:30 sharp and gets locked at the start itself. So, he cannot let students enter the premises to take the exam.
10: 15 am: Students share their concerns and complaints with shiksha.com.
10: 18 am: Parents and students who were denied entry start going back.
12:40 pm: JEE Mains 2015 online exam ends. Students start coming out of the centres.
12:42 pm: Students share feedback.
12:43 pm: No glitches in the online exam till now
12:45pm: Students give mixed reaction about the exam
