Karunya University Phd/M.Phil Entrance Exam
Karunya University conducted an entrance exam on October 19, 2013 for admissions to its full time/part time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)/Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programs for even semester for the academic year 2013-14.
Note: Even semester is a six-month period or a half year. The institute conducts the first PhD/M/Phil exam/admissions in March/April, so, September/October is an even semester for them.
Exam pattern:
The written exam is spread over 2 parts:
- Part 1: General aptitude
- Part 2: Technical aptitude for research. The questions through part 2 will be department specific.
Application process:
- Download the application forms from the official website of the university www.karunya.edu
- Send the filled in application form with all details and a DD for Rs. 500 (drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, Karunya University’ payable at Coimbatore) to Admissions Officer, Karunya University, Coimbatore – 641 114, Tamil Nadu, India. Applications should reach on or before October 4, 2013.
- Students who are shortlisted will be asked to appear for a test and interview before final selection.
