KCET 2016 Syllabus and Pattern
KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) will be conducting KCET 2016 on May 4 and 5, 2016. While the Biology and Mathematics paper will be held on May 5, the Physics and Chemistry paper will be conducted on May 5, 2016. Check KCET 2016 important dates here!
The application process for the exam has commenced too. KCET(Karnataka Common Entrance Test) 2016 syllabus would mostly comprise questions from the first and second PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. KCET 2016 Pattern:
- Attempting all the papers - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology is a must to secure admissions in engineering, medical, dental and other programmes.
- The exam is spread over two days. The test is held in four different sessions.
- KCET 2016 will be an 80 minutes exam (1 hour 20 minutes). Each subject will consist of 60 questions, thus, the total number of questions will be 180.
- All the questions will be objective ( Multiple Choice type format).
- Each question will carry one mark each and there will be no negative marking for any question answered incorrectly. In case, if the candidate chooses multiple answers for a question, no marks will be awarded for such a question.

KCET 2016 Admit Cards
In order to successfully appear in the exam, aspirants are required to download KCET 2016 admit cards as soon its available on the official website of the exam. According to the website, the admit cards for the exam will be available from April 15, 2016.
KCET 2016 result and counselling dates are not yet released. Generally, the exam results are declared in month of the exam being conducted.
