KCET 2022 Counselling: The Karnataka Examination Authority released the KCET 2022 Round 1 counselling dates on the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in on October 3, 2022. The procedure of counselling consists of document verification and registration, candidate choice selection, seat assignment, and fee payment with seat selection. As we know, the KCET 2022 counselling has been delayed because of the repeaters issue, and on October 1, 2022, the revised UGCET results were declared as per the orders of the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka.

All the eligible candidates will be able to complete option entry on October 7, 2022, at 6:00 pm. KEA has released the option entry date and schedule for candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Medical, Architecture and other professional courses. Along with the option entry dates, KCET 2022 First Round Seat Allotment, dates to download the verification slip, and display seat matrix have also been released. KCET 2022 Revised Result

KEA announced revised result on October 1, 2022 at the official website karresults.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The direct link is also provided below to check the result. This year, around 2.2 lakh candidates took the KCET 2022 examination. The examination was held between June 16 and June 18.

Who will participate in the KCET 2022 Counselling?

Those candidates who have been declared qualified in the KCET 2022 revised rank list can participate in the counselling process. The document verification process was completed by the KEA from August 22 to September 7, 2022. Candidates who have qualified for KCET 2022 and completed the document verification will be able to register for KCER counselling 2022 round 1 after the link is activated on the official website.

Those candidates who participated in the counselling will be eligible for the seat allotment.
In the first step of counselling, candidates will have to report to the counselling centre and get their documents verified.
After the document verification, candidates will get the chance to fill out the college and course preferences.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will exercise the seat allotment process. During the process, the rank of the selected candidates, seat availability, college & course preferences, etc. will be considered.

What are the stages of KCET 2022 Counselling?

Check below the stages of KCET 2022 Counselling:

Document Verification & Registration: Document verification stage has been completed by the KEA. At the stage of registration, candidates must register themselves for the counselling process by filling out the registration form.

Choice filling & locking: After the document verification, candidates will have to log in to their account by using a unique id and password. After this, they have to fill out their preferences for college and courses. At the time of choice filling, a candidate will be able to check the course-wise, category-wise, and college-wise seat matrix. A candidate should select the preferences carefully. However, a candidate can modify, add or delete the choices in every round of counselling.

Seat Allotment: After the completion of the choice filling procedure, the seat allotment result will be released. To download the seat allotment letter, a candidate will have to log in to their accounts. The seat allotment letter will have information such as: allotted college, reporting date, etc.

Reporting to the Allotted College: In order to confirm the admission, report to the allotted college on the mentioned date and time. Carry the other required documents along with the allotment letter to the college for the purpose of verification.
