KEAM 2015 Exam Analysis by TIME
KEAM 2015 exam for engineering was held on two days. While Paper 1 for Physics and Chemistry was conducted on April 20, the exam for Mathematics i.e. Paper 2 took place on April 21, 2015. Check KEAM 2015 important dates here!
KEAM 2015 Paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) which was held on April 20, 2015 had four versions - A1, A2, A3 and A4. Q.No. 1 to 72 was Physics and Q.No. 73 to 120 was Chemistry in all versions of the paper.
There were 5 choices given for each question. All questions were 'Single Correct Multiple Choice' type. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Most of the questions in Physics and Chemistry were of "Easy" and "Medium" difficulty level. There are very few questions which can be termed as "Difficult".
The second paper (Paper 2 for Mathematics) for Kerala Engineering Entrance was held on April 21. There were four versions for the test booklet - B1, B2, B3 and B4. The test paper had 120 questions from 11th and 12th std syllabus of Mathematics. Check KEAM 2015 syllabus here!
All the questions were 'Single Correct Answer' type multiple choice questions. They had 5 choices. Each correct answer carried 4 marks and each incorrect answer will carry -1 mark. There were a few questions in the paper which involved lengthy calculations.
