The registrations for KEAM 2016 will commence soon. Till then, take a look at the syllabus and test pattern of the exam on shiksha.

KEAM 2016 conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Thiruvananthapuram, will begin on April 25, 2016. KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical) is a state level exam taken by aspirants to get through various UG programmes offered by different colleges in Kerala. Ever since the dates are announced, students are keen to know KEAM 2016 Syllabus and Pattern. According to the official website, KEAM 2016 engineering exam will be conducted in two parts i.e. Paper I and Paper II that will take place on April 25 and April 26 respectively. However, dates for KEAM 2016 medical exam are different and will be held on April 27 (Paper I) and April 28 (Paper II).

KEAM 2016 Exam Pattern

As announced by CEE, Kerala will be conducting KEAM 2016 exam in two sections i.e. Paper I-Physics & Chemistry and Paper II- Mathematics. Following is the exam pattern of KEAM 2016:

  • Paper I- Physics & Chemistry versions- A1, A2, A3 & A4
  • Paper II- Mathematics versions- B1, B2, B3 & B4
  • Each paper will have 120 questions of total 480 marks
  • Multiple choice questions
  • Negative marking for every incorrect answer
  • Duration of exam will be 2.5 hours
