Step 1- Enter rank/predicted rank

In this field, aspirants need to mention their rank in KEAM 2015. However, if aspirants want to check information regarding colleges and engineering branches that are offered on the basis of KEAM ranks then they can fill-in their expected rank in the box placed here.

Step 2- Select category

After mentioning your rank/expected rank in KEAM 2015 College Predictor Tool, you need to enter the category to which you belong.

Here, you can select from categories such as – State Merit (SM), Ezhava (EZ), Muslim (MU), Latin Catholic (LC), Other Backward Hindu (BH), Other Backward Christian (BX), Kudumbi (KU), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and MG.

Step 3- Select round

In the next section of KEAM 2015 college predictor tool, you will have to select the counselling round of KEAM wherein you want to search for the college and branch that will be offered to you for admissions. Here, you can select from – Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Counselling Round (All). If you select the “Counselling Round –All” option then you can view engineering colleges and branches along with the closing rank for admissions in all the counsellng rounds of KEAM.

After filling all these fields, you have to click on the “Search button” which is orange in colour. On clicking the search button after filling all the details, a list of 15 colleges will be displayed before you. Towards the end of this list, there’s a button with the text – Load more results. If you click on this button another 15 colleges will be displayed for the KEAM rank, category and counselling round you had filled in the form before.

After viewing this list of colleges, branch names, counselling round and closing ranks, you are provided with an option to compare colleges. However, here you need to note that at any given time you can compare only four colleges.

The college compare option will help you compare colleges on criteria such as – Location, year of establishment, course name, alumni rating, course duration, mode of study, affiliation, top recruiting companies, AICTE approval, fee, hostel and transport facility.

After viewing this comparison you can either vote for the college of your choice or share the comparison on facebook, twitter or Google+.

Also, towards the end of the comparison, you are provided with a list of popular engineering colleges that are regularly compared on Shiksha.com.
