On the same lines, now we will be offering you guidance on how to find out the list of colleges that will offer you admissions in the engineering branch of your choice.
To further explore the KEAM College Predictor Tool to find colleges offering you the desired engineering branch, candidates need to select the tab with the text – Find college for a branch. After clicking on this link, a form opens up wherein you will have to fill information regarding your preferred engineering branch, expected/predicted rank, category and counselling round.
In order to use the KEAM 2015 Branch Predictor Tool accurately, you can go through the below mentioned steps and thereafter find out the colleges that will offer you admissions on the basis of your KEAM rank as well as branch preference.
Step 1- Select preferred branch
In the first field of the college predictor tool for KEAM, you have to select the engineering branch of your choice. You can even search for your preferred engineering branch in the drop-down displayed before you. Another aspect of the branch predictor tool for KEAM is that you can select multiple engineering branches as per your preference and thereafter look for colleges that will offer you admissions in those branches depending on your specified rank.
Step 2- Enter rank/predicted rank
In the next step, you need to mention your expected rank or predicted rank in KEAM 2015.
A point to note here is that all the predictions made in the KEAM 2015 branch predictor are on the basis of KEAM 2014 closing ranks.
Step3- Select category
Further, you need to select the reservation category to which you belong. You need to select that category in the drop-down which you have mentioned in the KEAM 2015 application form.
The category options present before you are State Merit (SM), Ezhava (EZ), Muslim (MU), Latin Catholic (LC), Other Backward Hindu (BH), Other Backward Christian (BX), Kudumbi (KU), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and MG.
Step 4- Select round
In the last step, you need to select the counselling round for which you want to search results. You need to pay a lot of attention to the counselling round you select in this field because the information regarding closing rank for admissions into engineering colleges as well as branches mentioned by you will only be provided for that specific counselling round.
The counselling rounds from which you can select are: Counselling round (All), Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3.
After following all these steps, you need to click on the “Search” button. On doing this, the top 15 search results are displayed before you. As part of these search results, you are provided information regarding the branch name, institute course code, college name, counselling round and the corresponding closing rank for admissions.
You can view more search results by clicking on the “Load more results” option.
Just like the KEAM cut-off predictor tool, in the KEAM branch predictor also you can compare two or more colleges as per your preference. At the bottom of the page displaying the “college compare” results, you can also view a list of colleges that are popularly compared on Shiksha.com.
